Stock base '08 here with 117k miles.
I'm assuming it's a good practice to replact the belts, but I question if anybody has actually had a belt failure on a stock LS3 motor that is running fine, with the belts looking ok.
Thoughts???
Check the inner rib sections, and if you see cracks, replace the belt.
Trust me, at 117K, if the original belt, that would be pulled and stored in the back cuby hole for back up, and motor would be wearing a new belt a long time ago. Also, don't forget to replace the inner/lower A/C belt as well.
