Default Mufflers

Looking to put mufflers on my 06 Conv. I just want some sound not what I would say not to much but some rumble at idle and sound nice for long trips. Any suggestions, I am looking at Magnaflow %0's maybe 40"s

My suggestion would be Corsa Sports with their X-pipe. Then if you want more "rumble & pop" add AR Headers with their hi-flow cats. That's what I'm running on my '05 & the "music" is awesome.

Here is a short video, in the beginning is a clip after i replaced some aftermarket mufflers, which gave (at least in my opinion) a noticeable and annoying drone with stock (non-NPP) mufflers, the second part is after intalling Corsa axle back. Otherwise all stock exhaust. Don't mind the text or commentary, both are in Finnish.

do you have stock manifolds? This would make it quieter keeping those versus the LT header route. Maybe just something to consider when listening/watching clips of various exhaust systems.

So i had new muffler's installed Flow master 40's I wanted 50's but he said they would not fit. What I was looking for is something that don't blow me out of the inside of the car ( something close to stock with some sound) The 40's blow be out of the cab don't like them, went back and he installed a set of resonators still too much. Still too much so I am putting them back to stock at his expense because I told him at least three times what I wanted. Just wanted a little sound. So before I do any suggestions on other brands of muffler's I could that don't sound like a race car?

And I'm very allergic to drone. During normal steady cruising can't even hear the mufflers, only road noise (mainly tires, maybe some wind etc.).

I even measured the dBs with a SPL meter after installing the Corsa Sports [The very small disclaimer: I've got some sound insulation in the trunk, but all the measurements were executed on the same day (with the sound insulation)]
:

dB (A) Stock mufflers / Corsa Sport:

Idle behind the car 61 / 62 dB
Idle inside the car 50 / 58 dB

80 km/h steady cruising 71 / 72 dB
80 km/h pressing the gas pedal 72 / 73 dB
80 km/h meaning 6th gear ~1100 rpm

100 km/h steady cruising 72 / 74 dB
100 km/h pressing the gas pedal 73 / 75 dB
100 km/h meaning 6th gear ~1400 rpm

Looks like thats the way to go. I was trying to do it cheep. I did talk to Flo Master guy and he suggested Delta Flow 60 cat backs. At this point go to stay with stock. But Thanks for your reply

If you want it to be quiet and comfortable during norman cruising, keeping it stock is the best bet.
If you want more sound with upper revs, stock NPP should be very good option (butterfly valves).

Aftermarket: Corsa Sport is what I would recommend based on my own experience. Don't know of Corsa Extreme, but it should be reasonably quiet. I've also read that Borla has several droneless options for mufflers, but I don't have personal experience of them.

If you're looking for an axle-back kit, and "cheap" is your overriding objective, you might want to look into Nxt Step Performance Exhaust. It's the least expensive kit I've seen, although frankly you might be better off spending 2x the $$$ and getting a Borla ATAK 11822. I've tried all the cheap exhausts, and the Nxt Step provides some auditory grunt, a little bit of burble on deceleration, and look great. It is also lighter than the stock system. If you do go this route, note that the over-axle pipes are too long and will need to be trimmed about an inch. Also, there is NO drone.
