C6 starter replacement

Just recently replaced the starter on my 2008 c6 base after the car has been sitting for a few months. Now the car just clicks and doesn’t start. Bad battery or bad starter?

Always start with the battery. Was it on a trickle charger? You can take it to almost any auto parts store and they will check it out for free.

Didn’t have it trickle charging , I had the car hooked to jumper cables in the video.

Sitting for a few months the battery probably doesn’t have full charge... unless you charged after sitting that long or had it on a tender.

So even if it’s on jumper cables it could still be a bad battery? I’ll get the battery tested for sure , I was under the assumption that maybe the starter was faulty.
