Default Spark Plugs

Just a quick note on something that happened that seemed odd."13 GS less than 13k miles develops a miss on cylinder #2.swapped coil packs and no change.Pulled valve cover, checked valve springs, lifters and did a compression check.Everything checks good.Friend suggested swapping plugs with another cylinder.Wa la,that was the problem.Missed moved to the swapped cylinder.New set of plugs and everything good as new.Lesson learned again, check the basic things first.

I had 2 plugs go bad when I had my 06. They only had 15000 miles on them. Due to the low miles, I just replaced the one bad one then a few months later another went bad. At this point I went ahead and replaced all of them. They were the original ACDELCOs.

My understanding is that DENSO was manufacturing those spark plugs for GM...maybe not!
