Help with drag wheel setup
Hey y’all,
I’m getting a set of weld drag wheels for my base c6. The sizes are 17x5 front and 17x10 rears. I was wondering what tire sizes would best fit both sizes. I am looking at the Mickey Thompson street s/s in particular.
I watched a video and one guy ran a 26x6x17 front and 28x10x17 rear. What does that equate to in metric though?

Auto trans, or manual?
Manual, get a bias ply tire. Like a 26” would be best for gearing.

How much hp does the car have? Maybe an 18" could work for you.

I just bought 17x11 and 315/35/17 for mine. Because I wanted to match the 265/35/18 I just put on the front. I had 305/30/19s on it
Really the best would be to step up from the ~26in diameters to more like a ~28. Like a 305/45/17
