So,, I let my c-6 sit too long and the battery was almost dead. I get the hood up, charge the battery. I go to get in and the doors wont open and the back up cam is on. The fob had no effect on it at all. It's as if the car thinks it's in reverse. I didn't have time this morning to mess with it so when I get off work this afternoon I plan to open the hatch using the key. Any ideas why it would be doing this?

If the battery is weak, half the computers will brown out and nothing will work right.
Reverse camera in a C6 will be aftermarket, which suggests you have a radio interface adapter, and those can be flaky even with a good battery.
Step one is confirm good battery. If it was discharged to "almost dead," it has permanently lost some capacity. If it's more than a few years old, it's lost even more. Heading into the cold winter months it will only get worse.
Charge it overnight, and/or load test it, and/or replace it. Make sure the terminals are clean and tight.
The battery should be good, at least the charger I use says it's good and it's only about a year old. I really shouldn't let it sit that long without driving it. It's a nice old car, garage kept, never have had a minutes trouble out of it until now...

The battery and/or terminals remain prime suspects.
That said, it's possible the aftermarket radio adapter is malfunctioning (they do that) and stomping all over the Class 2 data bus. The RCDLR is on the same bus. Communication problems with the RCDLR will prevent the fobs working. Try pulling the radio fuse.
