Default Console Wiring Question

Just installed a newer OEM USB Nav radio in my 2010 C6. And when putting the console back together I have a female connector left over with four wires and I can't find a home for it. The wire colors are, two black, one tan and one gray wire. Everything else seem to work just fine includiing the Nav radio which is out of another Vette that came right on without a anit theft warning, go figure.

Any thanks of any help one can provide.

Don't by chance have a car without the magnetic ride do you?Have you started the car or just used accessory mode to check the radio?

Thanks for the reply. Turns out it as just on Acc. And when I started it I got the anit theft about the radio. Nothing special about this car it is just your basic ride.

It sounds like you're talking about the connector for the F55 magnetic ride switch, which was present on cars without F55. On my 2006, though, there are only three wires going to the four-pin connector: grey/black, tan/white, and black.

Thanks for the reply. On closer exam there are 2 black wires, one tan wire and a gray wire with a black strip.

That would be the plug torquetube was talking about. It changed to a 4-wire plug in 2008 when the console style was changed.

Thanks you two, it has been driving me crazy looking for a mate to this plug as I took all of this a couple of weeks ago and have been testing my memory.
