Default Radio background colors

Hey everyone, my corvette has recently had some wiring issues and something kind of weird just started happening. The radio is blue 90% of the time but now it’s red, mostly when I’m leaving wherever I was driving to. Is this normal? I know you can change the colors in mine but I’ve never touched it bc I liked the blue it came with, anyone else seen this? Did I press something? Is it normal or do yall think this is just another wiring issue? And anyone else get the “fob low battery” warning when they’ve changed it less than a month ago?

Try and get (and then post) a video of the radio issue.

if you replace the fob battery again, does the warning go away? Could have been a used or bad battery

I believe that radio background preference can be assigned to the specific (driver 1 vs driver 2) key fob.
If I use fob #1, my seat adjustments, my HVAC preferences, and radio presets are used.

If I use fob #2 these settings are different.

Did you use the same fob every time?

thank you for confirming this, I was confident it had to do with either battery voltage or which key fob I was using and yes, I did attempt to use one than the other. The colors didn’t change immediately but eventually did and one of my keys also does the memory seat adjustment but a silent auto-lock and the other has no memory seating and beeps when you walk away, so I do think that was the issue, thank you!

Thank you for your reply. thats where it got weird, I changed the battery in the one that was completely not working and it’s still not working, like it’s not programmed to the car, which is scary bc it’s probably only a few weeks until my spare goes out too. I’ll probably have to get a new fob or go to vette world and see if they’re familiar with this issue because I can still start it putting it in the console slot but I’m pretty sure you can’t get in a locked c6 with a dead fob and I’m going to try haha. Thank you again!

If you are experiencing fob issues, it would be a really good time to verify that the key cylinder above the license plate works and will allow you to get into the car.
