Navigation updates for C6
Hello all. I have been searching the Forum for information on C6 navigation updates. What I have found is mostly dated would like a little clarification and I continue my search both on and off the Forum.
If I understand correctly the C6 and Cadillac shared the same unit, there was only one system update during the life of the unit, the last map update was version 9.0 and the updates are no longer available from GM-Is this correct?
The 2008 C6 I just acquired has the version 4.0 and I do not think the system was ever updated. As I search the web, specifically Ebay and Amazon I find many offers for US disks but non for Europe which is what I need and so far no system update disks. I have been considering installing an after-market unit but for now prefer to maintain the Heads-Up-compatibility of the original GPS unit. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can purchase these discs?

Version 10 for US/Canada was put out in 2016. That is the last update available, I'm still using it without any issues. Not many new roads have been built or added since that time.
Worse case is that I can use my phone with Waze or google maps.
I like the OEM unit because of the HUD integration.
Do you have version 4 Europe, or US?

The European Nav Unit DVD was version 4 in 2015, That is the last update, so if you have version 4 Europe, you have the final update that was available for the European market.
