Default Delayed Shifting

I have a 2005 C6 auto recently rebuilt transmission. I took it in for a trans flush after the rebuild to make sure the correct level of fluid is in the transmission. Shift from 1st to 2nd is at like 10pm, however going to 3rd it wants to wait til I hit about 60mph. The shift is smooth. Is this a tuning issue?

More than likely I would say, in trans tuning the rpm & mph need to match very closely.

Is this something I can get a transmission shop to do without getting a new/rebuild?

Did you have the car tuned recently? If not its not a tuning issue. Tunes don't change over time or adapt (they can to a degree but not like that). Likely a variable is causing the calibration to act differently. Are you talking about at wide open throttle or just regular acceleration?

Regular acceleration in 2nd gear at about 2k-3k rpms sounds like a downshift until I reach 60mph. If I do full throttle it seems to shifts fine but full throttle usually put me in that speed range either way. I’ll try to post a video of it Wednesday
