Do the springs give out? My '13 has 69k on it and front end is dragging more than usual. The ride has gotten really harsh. Potholes and pavement cracks are killers. Acts as if it is bottoming out. When doing a search for a replacement, I find lots of different part numbers. How do I find the number for mine? Any ideas appreciated. dm

They do. Mine broke in to two thank god only coming to stop at light at slow speed. Inspect your spring very closely from top and bottom, for any delineation, damage, cracks, deep scratches. Also your height adjusters, they could have gone south and lost their rubber spacers. Part numbers have changed for springs so it is challenging.

Could be spring that is cracked (some cleaners can cause the spring to delam or crack), or could be after market ride height adjusters just falling apart.
My guess if car has not been wrecked to cause front spring damage, its a combo of after market ride height adjusters falling apart, and car lowered too much as well.
So on that note, would swap a new set of oem type ride height adusters, get car back to stock ride height, and double check what shocks are on the car, since someone may have swapped in a set way too stiff to start with.
Thanks to all for your suggestions. I have had it since new so the shocks have not been changed. Maybe they are worn but show no signs of leaking. If I understand correctly, turning the adjusters clockwise lowers the ride height. So about half way would be a good starting place? It has gotten to the point it is just not much fun to drive anymore. Again, thanks for the help.
Yep, clock wise threads, with rubber side of ride height adjuster down, so turning adjuster from top clockwise will thread them down, to raise the car up.
As for getting close on ride heights, car on level ground and just measure from tips of fenders to ground.
Also, keep in mind if car is base, Z51, GS or Z06 since base numbers are different for different models.
inspect the springs, they can crack but usually only from impact damage. It's easy to see if they are cracked. You want to "unscrew" the adjuster from the spring into the control arm to raise the ride height. You can also shim between the adjuster and the control arm if for some reason you can't get the adjusters to rotate or they are damaged
