Is this wire causing my issues?
Alternator wire in contact with coil. Erratic voltage from 13-16+ with random codes. This is mostly while cruising.
Mechman alternator
The wire in question is in direct contact so I’m assuming it needs to be rotated off of it?

I would move it off anyway.

ECM controls alternator voltage output, so my guess would be the after market low resitance spark plug wires, and even non OEM plugs that do not have the needed RF suppression resistance, that is allowing RF noise from the coils back to the ECM, and what is causing the strange alternator output voltage fluctuation.
But re-route the alternator cable away from the coil, to see if that solves the problem.

If this doesn’t work next guess would be bad coil pack?

I'd guess the more likely cause would be the alternator or a bad ground.

Update: SOLVED!
Took the car out on 3 seperate occasions and zero codes thrown. Voltage holds steady and no longer spikes 16.
Thanks to my brown friend @onivette for the advice

That's great! Did just moving the wire off fix it?

yes, all I did was loosen the nut rotated off of the coil and tighten it good

NEVERMIND smh
voltage is pegging gauge on cold start now. Opens the muffler valves and throws all sorts of codes.
going to change the battery and see if that helps since it did need to be jumped a few times…
also the alternator pulley is smaller than oem and will be changing that

Your starter solenoid is the issue. Replace the solenoid. Run a 1/0 wire from the alternator to the fuse box bolt. Run 1/0 wire from positive battery cable to fuse box. Run 1/0 wire from engine block to frame. Run 1/0 wire from negative battery cable to engine block.
