Have a npp axel back, kooks long tubes with high flow cats and a cam. Is this as loud as the car can get? It doesn’t sound bad but I’d like it a little louder while still having a baffle system for my neighbors sake

About the loudest you can get with factory bi mode mufflers would be big long tube headers (1.785 or 2"), no cats, 3" mid pipes and ZR1/late model Z06 mufflers. A cam upgrade would increase the noise too. I ran that setup for a while. It's too damn loud (for my tastes anyway) just to drive around town with the flaps open. Straight pipe loud. It did sound pretty glorious at full tilt.

3" non catted mids as well as ZR1/late model Z06 mufflers will add volume to what you have. I don't think it would be a huge change in volume. I started with Kooks 1.875" headers with 3" (ZR1/Z06) non catted mids with ZR1 mufflers. I thought they were too damn loud open and too damn quiet closed. Switched to early model Z06 mufflers and thought they were just about perfect open, but were still too damn quiet closed. I now have Z06/ZR1 Corsa sports and I think they are perfect (for me) in all realms. Mean idle, mean as hell at WOT, and fairly subdued at cruise. The harder you accelerate the louder they get.
