Recently just finished my c6 build has Btr stage 4 cam/Brodie’s heads ported and milled/Kate h oil pump/msd intake and headers so finished the car yesterday and it wouldn’t turn on into accessory
mode Had to unplug and replug the battery 5 times just for the dash to light up than car fired right up ran good no codes everything sounded great than I turned it off checked oil and coolent everything was good well than car wouldn’t start it would crank but no start unless you gave it some throttle than it would start up but it won’t stay running unless you keep giving it throttle the car will slowly bog down and than die went and took it for a drive drove fine had one time where I was letting off the clutch from a stop and started driving and the car back fired I don’t know if it’s a fuel issue or a timing issue or an electrical issue never down somthing like this before would appreciate some help and feedback thank you
I’d look at the fuel pressure first…let us know what you find !!…with your scan tool if you can go WOT see if your front O2 sensors go full rich !!…if you need to know if it’s a timing issue find a shop that uses a pressure transducer…in 5 minutes they can tell you if the timing is off without having to pull the engine apart…below is a waveform from my old C5…ignition occurs about 6.839 degrees before TDC…if ignition occurs to the right of TDC your timing may be off.

So I was removing the valve cover because the gasket didn’t set right and it had a very small leak well when I pulled off the spark plug wires one of the bits inside of the spark plug wire was snapped off and wouldn’t click into the coil boot could this have been my problem?
