Spark plug wire = bad idle????

So my car was having trouble idling sounded rough and would die unless I gave it gas one of the valve covers had a small oil leak so I went to go pull it this morning and when I pulled the last park plug wire and I see this the tips broken and the wire wouldn’t click back into the coil boot could this have been the reason for the car dieing at idle or do I have a different issue

As mentioned in your other post…NO !!…on 7 cylinders your car should still run but may be a little rough…change it out and see.
