My 2008 can be running perfectly one day or have any combination of the following issues for days in a row: Temp, Fuel and Oil gages go dead, radio locks, brake and ABS warning lights, power to door locks and hatch go dead and various messages from "Low Fuel" to "Service Soon". I've cleaned engine area ground and cable connections and checked all the fuses. The battery checks out on the tester. My 2005 never did anything remotely like this. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
Try disconnecting, cleaning and reinstalling your body control module connections. They have been known to get knocked loose by the passengers feet being in that area.

There's a pretty solid barrier between your feet and those connections. It would take some pretty large feet and a hefty blow to mess with those. But it would be good to check in case there was ever water intrusion. If it looks anything like this, I'd have questions. This is a recent photo from a 2008 coupe with over 43K miles.

that barrier isn't that solid.it almost rests on the right sided connection. It also doesn't offer any protection to the top connection. Was just a thought to check. Always better to check free potential issues before spending unnecessary money.

It's a piece of plastic corrugated material that easily flexes if/when somebody shifts their weight around in the passenger seat, using their feet to brace against it when shifting around. There isn't much clearance between it and the connectors. Plenty of evidence on the forum that supports checking the connectors out due to this.
There are two grounds under the battery tray that ground a lot of things. Have you check those. If you do these eyelets are a two piece item they lock together like the glad hand on a 18 wheeler. you have to hold one and rotate the other to match up the places where lock tabs will release. But make sure to take them apart and clean all four sides. I have diagrams of all the grounds I can PM you if needed. Good luck.
