Having said that, when I bought my car, it was 10yrs old (albeit low mileage, only 10,000km/6k miles) and I'm sure it had the original radiator fill. It looked, smelled like new...

I just did my F-150 for the first time today at 9 years old. The manual calls for 10 years. Will probably do every 5 years now, which has been my change interval for many years.
