Was wondering if someone could potentially interpret this for me. Was in traffic and my cel came on randomly and service traction system, and service active handling came on.
You have an issue with your APP sensor…there are 2 potentiometers and the voltage reading from each of these 2 potentiometer voltages do not agree with each other…it helps if we know what year your car is.

it’s a 2010 Base C6. Sorry I should’ve stated that before-hand. If you don’t mind my asking, how difficult would this be to have fixed as a general idea by an auto shop. Unfortunately my wedding is coming up in a couple months, and don’t have a whole lot to budget elsewhere currently. I know without more information it’s probably a loaded question. I apologize
If you know how to use a DVOM you will need it to diagnose this DTC…if you have no electrical experience take the car to an auto electric shop.
I’ve saved the diagram, but currently I don’t have experience with stuff like this. I’m wanting to learn which is part of why I bought the obd reader. I’d love to get better at doing stuff myself

With this code reader you have will not give you much info other than the trouble code…you need a scan tool.

APP sensors work the same whether it’s on your Corvette or a Honda…any shop that can’t diagnose this should be selling hot dogs instead !!

You learn how to diagnose cars by self study…not be turning wrenches.
I just experienced this same problem on my 2006 Z06, but it is code P2135. Maybe the code has changed over the years. Anyway, I decided to replace the accelerator pedal assy, GM part no. 19417903. That part is the same for all year and model of C6 Corvettes. The part I ordered cost about $65. A true GM part will cost over $150 and they are not available from most suppliers. I have no clue as to the quality of the one I ordered, so I am taking a chance on that, but couldn't bring myself to pay over $150, at least for now. We'll see how it works out. I already removed the old pedal assy and am waiting for the new on to arrive. You have to remove the bezel under the steering wheel as well as the plastic plate above your feet in order to get enough access for removal of the pedal assy. Don't even try this job without removing those two panels first. Even with those parts removed and the seat all the way back, it is difficult to get your body into that area, and I am not a big guy. I have a pad that I can put down and that helps a lot, but I still got stiff and sore.

I just want to follow up on my last post. The new accelerator pedal assy arrived. Externally, it appears the same as the OEM unit. I installed it, cleared the code, and performed the relearn procedure. Now, the true test will be if the code does not reappear during a long drive.
