Morimoto Gen2 Tail lights - backup lights not functioning
Just installed the Gen2 Morimoto Tail Lights in my 2012 Corvette (Base). Installed per the directions with the new wiring harness. Result was the tail lights worked but brake lights did nt, back up lights did not and blinker cadence was fast. Hooked up the OEM harness as and did not loop in the new harness and while the back up lights didn't work, the tail lights, brake lights, flashers all worked and the blinker cadence was normal. Looking at the OEM harness, I discovered the connector has only 7 pins (which appears to be by design as there is a wire plug on the other side). Does anyone know what might be the issue or if I need some sort of adapter (other than the new harness) to get full functionality for these lights. Thanks.

Thanks. Headlight Revolution suggested checking all of the connections, which I did. All looked good with exception to the existing harness which had seven pins.
