I just finished a fast lsxr intake install. I go to start the car and have 0 oil pressure and the car won’t turn over. Turns out I forgot to plug the oil sending unit connection back in, so I take off the fuel rails and plug it back in and briefly get the car to start and read pressure. As soon as it starts it shuts back off and the pressure goes back down to 1 psi. I’ve been reading that a bad sending unit/sensor is a common issue for the c6, but would that prevent the car from starting?
I had an oil pressure sensor fail on me and it showed 0 oil pressure but still started and run fine.Drove it home like that to replace it.Don't know if that helps or not.

The engine only makes oil pressure when it's running.

I hate to be that guy and state the obvious but check your battery, its possible you killed it while it was down being worked on. I've done it many times. Low voltage makes these cars do screwy ****. Could be possible you have a bad sending unit but my guess is you've either unpluged something or messed up a connection somewhere since you had it apart. Just retrace your steps and check your voltage at the battery.
