I've developed a clicking sound from the rear of my 2011 grand sport. I have changed the differential fluid which stopped a different noise. Changed the endlinks which were bad and replaced the axle nuts which were loose (Loctite double nut).
The click happens when I back out of my driveway and move forward. I 'm moving very slowly as to not trash my front splitter. It is usually one or two clicks and then disappears. I'm at a loss. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
Mine does something similar, my axle nuts seemed good. I need to check end links, but it kind of sounded like the diff was flexing in the cradle or something.
Check your brake pads to see if they’re moving or missing anti-rattle clips (I assume they are supposed to have something to keep the pads secure but I have never had stock brakes on my car to know what it is). Also check parking brakes as maybe something in there is moving around when you change directions.
