Starting Problem
2005 Coupe, started at first in order to change wiper blades. When finished try to start and now only get a clicking sound. No start. Would the started go bad that fast?
Battery has full charge. Window indexed down but not up. Check engine indicated comes on for a few seconds. No FOB notice comes on for a few seconds. Since car is in garage I probably will need it towed to dealership. What is approximate cost I can expect from "Stealership"?

We can’t estimate how much this will cost because we can’t give you a firm diagnosis…it can be anything from a battery to a starter or worse…I think dealerships diagnostic fee is $150.00 an hour and labor maybe $225 or more…dealerships usually just replace parts so don’t expect to pay for just one part…find a shop that will diagnose your car and not just throw parts at it.

Thanks for the reply. I just put $4500 into repairs for A/C, Harmonic Balancer, Filters and Recharge A/C. Mechanic pointed out there is another $4000 of work that will be needed soon on items such as Rack & Pinion, Tires, Brakes. This is not the dealership either. Is it time to sell and move up to C7 or C8?
