Default Help! My corvette is doing something weird.

I have a 2008 c6 and the car has recently developed a new issue. Mods- btr hot cam, long tube headers and full borla exhaust- no cats, an intake and a tune.
I installed everything above about a month ago and the car has been great, awesome power and it sounds amazing. Recently the check engine light came on for bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor no voltage found the wires to be melted so I replaced both o2 sensors and fixed the wires. The check engine light was off for a week or 2 it came back on yesterday. This time for bank 1 sensor 1 high voltage it’s sitting at about 1200 mv and the other at 450-600. The car still ran good though, but this morning the car wouldn’t rev up past 3500 and felt like it had a misfire I checked the codes. They were the same and I monitored misfire data and had not a single misfire on my way to work. the other think to note is short term fuel trim was at -19 for bank 1 and 3 for bank 2 it seem to even out under throttle though to like 3 for bank 1 and 0 for bank 2. I’m not sure what to think and I need some help.

With O2 “stuck” high the ECM will pull fuel so that’s why your fuel trims are negative on that bank…disconnect your O2 sensor and with the engine cool see if it reads 450mv’s (bias voltage)…if it still reads 1200mv’s (max a scan tool will show) the heater part of the O2 sensor “may” be shorted to the signal wire…see if you read 12 volts on the signal wire with a DVOM…your wires may shorted together somewhere along the circuit…you’ll just have to find it !!…that is why you are seeing a P0132…”high voltage” !!…remove the fuse and see if you see 450mv’s again…you just need ignition in run.

The signal wire is purple/white and the heater wire power is pink…the O2 heater power for all O2’s is Fuse 6 (O2 Sen).

I am not getting 12 V at the signal wire and when I pull the fuse, it goes to zero mv

Well what are you seeing on the signal wire with the scan tool with the sensor unplugged ??…the max with a scan tool is 1200mv’s with a short to voltage.…what do you see with a DVOM
??

at first, I checked the signal wire with ground and got zero then I reread your message and checked it with the heater wire and found it to be 8 or 9v. When I unplugged the fuse, I get zero at the scan tool. not sure if it makes a difference but my scanner is reading 1275 sensor unplugged or not. I also get 0 V at the signal wire when I pull the fuse. And I check with my multimeter.

Heater wire should have 12 or system voltage on it not 8 or 9…sounds like signal is shorted to the heater wire…if you see 1275 mv’s and then pull the fuse and it goes to 0 the signal is shorted to that pink power wire…you had some melted wires so that’s most likely what you have.
