Can I rely on my dash to give me an accurate Voltage reading? I’m showing 14.2 driving and at times, 13.8 at idle. Still have warnings popping up but no problem. Time for a new battery? Can’t find a date on it.

No, dash voltage is usually 0.4 volts or so lower than AT the battery…what warnings ??…if you have no electrical skills take the car to an auto electric shop…if the battery is discharged the battery voltage will be higher and as it get charged it will decrease…if you suspect a battery have it checked.

I have a tester, just bought it. Will check at battery. Warnings are minor. Come and go. Tire pressure sensor, passenger airbag, then go away.
Warnings Popping up? Your Voltages seem fine, look for a place that will load test battery for you if it is of concern[/QUOTE
Forgive my ignorance. “Load test?”
Load testing is where they put a big resistor across the battery terminals and check your battery…that test is more old school…I do a capacitive battery test these days which is a much better test….just bring your battery to Auto Zone and let them test it.

Thank you! Warnings:Tire Pressure Sensor, Passenger Airbag. Then they disappear
