Steering gets overly stiff , after new ps pump
I had my heads replaced and a new cam, had the place put on a new power steering pump. It seemed fine , but they originally under filled it, then over filled it, i drove the car about a month with it over filled. I adjusted the fluid to proper level. But now when the car is driven and the engine gets up to normal temperatures( about 2 miles) the steering gets stiff. Did they ruin my pump ? I did find a leak too on the steering rack. Not sure where it's leaking totally, i do see some seepage from the top side where a line goes in. Could it be letting air get in ? Could someone tell me about the electric module that controls the steering system ? I have found different wires and grounds not tighten properly and wonder if this could be a issue? Can I do anything to the system by turning the wheels back and forth to maybe bleed air out of the system, could that be a issue ? I tired of trying to fix the issues this place who did the cam has caused.

Take it back to the shop that replaced it and tell them your concern…it’s on them to fix it and not on you…if it’s leaking get that fixed and then tell them to put a scan tool on the car to see if any trouble codes are present.
