Starting problem
Installled a new battery and 08 started well for a week perfectly. Put trickle charger on and two weeks later pushed starter with no response. Put battery pack on and started right up. Drove car 20 miles to a car show and, after 3 hours, went to start the car with no response. Fellow participant put his battery pack on my car and it started immediately. Drove car home and next morning no response when trying to start. Any one experience this? I should mention that all connections were double checked and were proper.

When installing a new battery the first thing to check that it is fully charged before you start the car...do you have a DVOM and possibly a 12 volt test light ??...next thing I would check is that the charging system is doing its job and do a voltage drop on the positive and negative sides of the charging system....the final thing is to make sure you don't have a parasitic drain after the car sits for a day or two...what part of Florida are you in ??...now when you said "all" connections were checked were the positive and negative battery cables at the starter solenoid and engine block checked ??...if you have a paper clip we can jump the crank relay (#43) just to make sure we don't have an issue with the "control" side of the starting circuit....also "communion" issues can also cause a no crank condition.
