Unless you can provide this audience with the troube codes that your car has generated and stored, I am going to guess..........BAD GAS.

A flashing MIL is a cat damaging misfire so you want to get this repaired ASAP if it returns…the TC light and service TS will also illuminate…if this is intermittent and you don’t have the knowledge and advanced diagnostic equipment to handle this find a shop who has this equipment…other than plugs and wires a DIY’er will just waste time and money on the fix !!

Code reader shows cylinder #2, tech did a quick check said its not the coil so either a dead fuel injector or a broken valve spring. Will have towed to his shop.

These are the things that may cause a misfire so I wouldn’t say it’s an injector or valve spring unless they test….

  1. Plug
  2. Wire
  3. Coil Pack
  4. Coil Pack wiring
  5. Fuel Injector
  6. Fuel Injector wiring
  7. Fuel Injector wiring- bad ECM/PCM
  8. Valve Spring broken
  9. Burned Valve
  10. Cam Lobe worn
  11. Low Compression- Rings

Do you have longtubes?

I had the same issue. Was throwing codes intermittent misfire as well as traction control / stability.

ended up being a fried 02 sensor wire. It was laying against the exhaust and burnt through causing a bad misfire.
