Tr6060 questions
Hi all,
Ive installed a tr6060 in my c5. Got the drivetrain out to do the clutch again.
At the time of the swap, I purchased the tranny off a salvaged 2008 Z06 ( TUET-6614). So i installed it as is, not knowing if it would be good.
Well it was. Everything works well except for shifting from 5th to 6th. It shifts fine if I'm under 2k RPM, however, above that, it grinds.
Been dealing with this issue for a few years and now is the time to adress it.
I ordered this kit from texas drivetrain performance.

Now im attempting to change these parts and thought to myself, do i also need to change the synchros rings, as the kit only comes with the synchro blocker rings, not synchro rings themselves or am i mixing up terminology?
Worried all the labor won't pay off...
