Trust be told, year in a shifter kart on local kart tracks on the weekends (sun and rain), will be a hell of lot cheaper, and crash course you faster on learning how to skate a car in the first place; Before you work yourself up to a Higher performance Sports cars on road course tracks, where one wreck at high speeds, not only spendy when car is totaled, but could cost your your life as well.
Trust me, know a lot of MX3 racers that are lights out with the little that those cars have in power, but would never drop them into a C6 for them to try to get it around the track on time attack, since totally different talent needed due to the hell of lot more HP on the C6 that can get them over their heads in no time flat.
