Bose speaker sounds distorted

Bose speaker sounds distorted
So a couple months ago my Bose speaker in my driver side door got distorted and does not do well with bass anymore and I can no longer find an OEM part to replaced it and everywhere else I try to look they don't show a direct fit. I was wondering if a company made a direct fit for a replacement

Need to complete your profile as we need to know the year model of your C6. The Bose system speakers are year specific as they were updated mid-model year. Also, there are two different size speakers in the door, but assuming you mean the woofer or larger of the two.

If you are not familiar with the factory options on your car, you should reference the RPO options sticker attached to the side of your glove box door. Take a PIC and there are several weblinks where you can decode the information. Here is a sample:

Your C6 year model Bose system has door woofer speakers with a built-in amp. There are no new replacements available for that speaker, but my buddy also has a 2007 and replaced his with one purchased off ebay and it worked well.
