Obd2 help me
2016 OBD2 VOODOO. 3 months ago, was getting "throttle pedal position" P2138. Local shop replaced throttle pedal and throttle body (on extended warranty. Was running fine until yesterday. Suddenly got engine light, "reduced power", within a minute or so got "SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING SYSTEM" then a minute later "SERVICE ACTIVE HANDLING SYSTEM", then " SERVICE TRACTION SYSTEM".
All of this happened within 3 or 4 minutes. I pulled over, shut down engine. Waited a few minutes, restarted and check engine lite stayed on, but other messages ceased. Next morning i hooked up my OBD2 and no error messages, no check engine light.. It showed error msg P2138 which is what it had back months ago when throttle pedal and throttle body replaced..

This is what sets the P2138 DTC...either a wiring issue or a bad APP Sensor...can't diagnose it for you unfortunately but just offer some suggestions.
**The ECM detects the voltage difference between APP sensor 1 and APP sensor 2 exceeds a predetermined value for greater than 1 s **....just because the part was new doesn't mean it's good....I'd take it back to your shop.

So is it possible that a bad app sensor could cause all those error messages? I cleaned ground cables that i could find, and even replaced battery with Optima red top (old batt 3 years old) I assumed??? new throttle assembly is good but not OEM, aftermarket from internet.
After changing battery all errors were cleared. Drove short distance and all those errors started popping up again. I stopped, shut off engine, waited a few min. then restarted and errors were gone except the check engine light. Ran OBD2 and had the P2138 again. should i replace the throttle pedal again? Should i specifiy brand? where to get reputable part?
