Does anyone have any experience with the Roar Pedal Throttle Controller for the C6? There is a cheap used one for sale near me and I was wondering if they are worth putting in? I have seen the occasional review on here relating to other brands like the pedal commander etc.
I guess I am concerned if they might throw codes or cause ECU damage - but also whether they are a worthwhile addition. Realize they don't actually add HP. Thanks!

Never heard of it. Odds are it's like all of the other throttle controllers. They all do the same thing, and allow you to tailor your throttle response to your personal preference. They take away the drive by wire throttle lag. I've had a Vitesse on my GS since shortly after they came out, so likely over 9 years now. I like it and it's one of the better mods I have done.
....ok well for $50 cdn I dont think I can go wrong with trying it. Guy said he removed it off his zo6 after putting in a big cam because throttle started to get glitchy....and I understand still is even without the controller lol.

agree with previous comments. I've had 3. 2 with issues and finally the Banks unit. It is very different with more features and no glitches like the other 2. Buy Cheap, Buy Often! Buy Good, Buy Once
Well I installed the Roar Pedal Throttle Controller that I picked up locally for cheap ($50 rather than $286). I must say, for the price it sure puts a smile on my face. It makes the car much more responsive feeling. In my view a good upgrade.
I have not had any issues with this brand so far, but I have not had it on very long yet. I guess if I have problems I can look at Banks. Unfortunately....the car has to go away for winter very soon.
one of the big problems the banks solves is the low voltage issue. I had times where my car went
into limp mode. Learned that the throttle voltage is already low and when you connect another
device, it sometimes reads too low and goes into limp mode.( happened rarely and randomly but once in traffic)
Restart and everything was fine, but
not something i wanted to happen again in traffic. Banks uses the usb for voltage and lets it do
other things as well. Low voltage glitching into limp mode is the reason I wouldn't own one that
just plugs into throttle. Some guys haven't had a problem and that is great, but I won't chance it again
