Brake caliper interchange options
Does GM use the same bolt pattern on many cars? I think you can use Cadillac ATS 4 piston brembo calipers on a base C6. I have heard of people taking Z06 rear 4 piston calipers and putting them on the front of a C6. Are the 2 bolts that mount the caliper the same on many GM cars? Is the bolt spacing the same for a C8 rear brake?

Do you mean it needs to have 60% more for creating bias to the front brakes? Since weight should be on the front when braking, you have more grip with front tires than rear. So, front brakes are bigger. If you had the same size brakes, would you run the risk of locking the rear or having the rear ABS kick in? With the larger stock rear tires, does that offset it some?
