Power seat issue. Went out today to pull the seats out of my 07 to go to the upholstery shop, only to find out my driver seat is dead. Lumbar support and bolster support work fine. I know it's not the fuse, as the passenger seat works fine, and both seats are on the same circuit. The seat is all the way back, so there's no way to get to the rear mounting bolts. I fiddled with the harness hoping it might just be a loose wire/connection, no luck. No clue on how to pull the seat bottom off to look down in there. Getting into the panic mode here, because it WAS working. I've gutted a lot of Corvettes in my life, but nothing like this. I'm at a total loss as to how to proceed from here. Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated! TIA

Reason: couldn't see text
Larry in OKC for some reason when I open your thread I am getting a blank screen. When I hover over it on the opening page I can see what your issue is. Maybe repost it so others can read and maybe help.
First the blank screen; the text is set with an almost white color, just select the text and you'll be able to read it.
The seat issue may be the switch. Check to see if it has been dislodged or otherwise disabled/broken. You could also try lightly tapping on it or remove the handle and the bezel to check if it's plugged in.
I had the same thing happen. It is either the switch, broken wires, or the motor is toast.
If it is the switch, you can access it without removing the seat. There is info about that here: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...vers-seat.html
In my case, I had to take off the front bolts so I could slightly tilt the seat back enough to get my hands/arms under there. I accessed the front/back motor wire connector under the seat and provided 12 volts directly to the motor to move the seat forward. Afterwards I was able to take the seat out and disassemble it to fix the switch.
I see things haven't changed with this board in the years I've been off it. There's still guys on here that just can't help themselves with the smartass comments.
