thats the front drivers side correct? i think this is where my oil fed blower hooked in on my last vette?
No. That view of the engine block shows the underside of the block, so the area circled in red is at the rear driver's side. It is just above the oil filter (which is attached to the oil pan, not the block).

Copy that, I wasn't thinking.... Was picturing it near the oil pump for some reason. Appreciate.
I thought about it, however that oil only has about 200 miles on it. Blackstone says they like a minimum of 1000 miles on the oil to give an accurate report
Also, I used to have a stock C6 that also had metal in the oil (my luck) so I sent in an oil sample to Blackstone. The report said everything was fine but turns out some valve seats were chewed up and I also had some ground down valve tips….. sooo not sure how much faith I put into an oil analysis
An oil analysis will only detect particles that are small enough to remain suspended in the oil to go through the chemical analyzer. The little chunks that you're seeing are settling out and won't make it into the analysis. If you want to determine what material those chunks are, you'll need to collect them and find another lab to analyze them directly.

Yeah I know, Blackstone directly told me this, unfortunately
