I need to replace my master cylinder in my 2009 C6 Z06. The OEM is not available anymore.
I track my car abut 4-5 times a year, and I have been looking for a quality master cylinder. Wilwood does not make one for my car.
Does anyone have experience/knowledge of a quality master cylinder?
Thanks very much! I am having difficulty finding the master cylinder on the Rock auto website. When I search by year/make/model, I can only find a master cylinder made by Dynamic Friction.
The OEM part number is 19432572, and when I search by that number, it says "no parts found".
Would you be able to send a link to what you found?
My bad…you know what happens when one assumes! Posts about clutch MC’s pop up weekly and my brain immediately defaulted to that when I saw “master cylinder”. Your reference to Wilwood should have been a major clue-in, but alas, I missed that. Best of luck to you finding what you need!
I installed a new clutch master cylinder from Tick Performance in my 2006 Z06 last summer. Works well.
Sorry, after rereading this thread, it seems you are looking for a brake master cylinder, not a clutch master cylinder.

FYI for anyone who needs to replace the master cylinder for 2009-2013,
I located a replacement brake master cylinder made by Dynamic Friction. Part number 355-47110. At Rock Auto.
on my 08 Z06, the reservoir is just discolored (yellowed)
You can remove the reservoir from the body by knocking the pins out. Put some sand inside the reservoir with your detergent and shake it up. This should be enough to clean it internally. I have done this a couple of times now with various GM models including a C6 reservoir.
