No key fob message
I know they replaced the battery and they had no problems using the FOB or driving. Only when I stopped for a short time.for gas. Any ideas what the issue might be. I don't want to get stuck somewhere. I generally do not carry the second key unless on a long trip.
Thanks.
Gas stations now, use microwave tech to communicate with tank monitoring equipment, as well as the refinery for inventory control. These can be very strong if you park in the "right" place. So strong in fact, that RFI can be a real thing. For this reason, you NEVER want to roll ur windows up when you go to fuel, or you could be locked out of your car. Seen it happen, with a C6 that parked too close to a transformer in BigBear, Ca. Had to tow the car about 100 feet away, then all was good.
This is, presuming that the FOBS battery is showing >3V under load.
