Default Surging after Mighty Mouse catch can install

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had any experience with something like this. I installed a catch can on my car a while back and I got a bit of surging after that. There was pretty much none when I got the car back after the H/C install. Any idea what I should be looking at? All the hoses are tight and there’s no obvious signs of a vacuum leak. Should I run a smoke test? It’s an irritation at this point and I was gonna have RPM check it out when I go back for the intake but it’s starting to annoy me now. What say you, fellas?

Sorry mods could you move this to the C6 section? Posted in the wrong place

Have you contacted us to make sure the hose routing is correct?

If you had a pcv system on the car, and went away from it (race system) then you may need to add idle air that formerly was supplied by pcv.

If you had a delete on the car (pcv tuned out), and have changed back to pcv, then you may need to remove idle air now being supplied by pcv

I might have but I don't remember. I'll take pictures today and send them to you to make sure I got it right. Thanks for reaching out.

I have a video I can send you too if the routing is too hard to see. I went behind the fuse box but I could shorten the lines and route the way most people do if you think that’s causing the issue. Everything was stock when I did the heads cam and got it tuned. I added the can after the install

as long as the inlet and outlet are pointed correctly
and the breather check valve is in the breather
and the drain is closed, connectors are tight
you should be good
