I just bought the resister from Radio Shack (5 for $1.29 or something), and with some instructions from the Forum, I had the mechanic put it in when doing my first oil change...took maybe five minutes. Unfortunately, I don't remember which resistor to get, but if you look it up in a search in the C5 section it will tell you.

What are you Radio Shack guys doing to weatherproof the connectors on both the PCM and tranny sides? Seems like $20 isn't much to pay to make sure the connections are weatherproof.
