CD disk is very hot when removed. Normal?

CD disk is very hot when removed. Normal?
I have the Navigation system and single CD set-up in my C6. When I remove a CD, it is as hot as if it was left out laying in the sun. Has anyone noticed this and is this normal on a C6?

Hot is normal... especially if it's been in there for the entire album.
If it's not in a changer, but in a dash unit, it will run VERY hot... you'll think the thing would melt!
