Has anyone looked into a good driving seat for the C6? If so, I would appreciate your thoughts. It looks like the factory belt is anchored at the bottom in the seat, which is going to complicate matters if the DOT-approved belt is maintained, which was my plan, and using a five point harness for track events. Belt issues aside, I assume the C6 will accept the same width as the C5, but I'm not sure. Thanks for any suggestions.

It's not what you asked, but you might consider the sheepskin seat covers. They're never hot or cold and very luxurious looking. They are also much more comfortable.
Looking for a simple drop in where someone has worked out the mounting for you or are willing to do some fabrication?
I find the fiberglass/carbon fiber FIA seats like Sparco to be too flexible but you stand a better chance of some sort of mediocre mounting solution having been worked out already. I run a Kirkey Road Race seat in the race car but it is custom mounted and required fabrication work.
I use the Ultra-Shield aluminum frame seat with hardbar seat rails in the C5. Yes I had to do some minor modifications and alignment, but then again any racing seat is not drop-in and bolt down.
I went to Butler with a freind to pick up his seat. Custom built for his body, $1600 plus a four month wait to have it built. Cool seats. A freind of mine went to Butler and had them meauser him for a seat. They called him a week latter and said we are too busy to build you a seat.
I guess if you are Jeff Gordon and Hendrick Motorsports and order 20+ seats at a time that does take a little prefference.
