No, everything about the C6 is better than the C5, especially the oil filter.

Just a reminder that we sell GM parts and accessories, including the oil filters, at dealer wholesale pricing without sales tax and without exhorbidant markups for shipping and handling. We are also selling the Corsa exhaust systems at the lowest posted price in the forum.

This is Bob at Fichtner Chevrolet,

The factory filter for the C6 is a PF46 Delco filter. The PF46 has replaced the PF44 as the base filter, and are completely interchangeable. Therefore the UPF44 Ultraguard Gold filter will fit and work perfectly on the C6 allowing you to use the same top of the line filter on either the C5 or C6. We have sold thousands of these filters and have them avialable for 7.95 singaly or 6.95 ea in lots of 6 or more. If you have any questions or wish to order give me a call at 406-628-4618 or email me at parts@fichtnerchevrolet.com

Question not post related, but similar.
