Yep..posted this easy fix some weeks ago 
..simple..while door is open and you want to listen to stereo (I do this in my garage all the time now that I am hooked on the XM 'Deep Tracks') the keeper part (item that is on the car and not the door)...within the slot you simply push the tab in...use your finger (small) or a chop stick...when you push you will hear a click and the ringing dinging chime will stop. BUT to close door FIRST FIRST lift on the manual door release (on floor next to seat) and here click and then you can close door
