Default Any published perf. specs,A4 vs M6?

Was wondering how much difference the perf. axle makes w/ the A4. Or, how much difference does the trans. gearing make on a Z51 M6 vs. a non Z51 M6 car?

According to GM, the Z51 6-spd should do 0-60 in 4.1 sec., while the 6-spd w/o Z51 should take 4.3 secs. The auto. with Z51 should take 4.5 sec., while the auto w/o Z51 is 4.6 sec.

In the 1/4 mile, the 6-spd with Z51 should do it in 12.5 sec., while the 6-spd w/o Z51 should take 12.6 sec. The auto with Z51 should be able to do it in 12.9 sec., auto w/o z51 13.0 sec.

Most of these numbers have been approximated by some car mags. At least one forum member has duplicated the 1/4 mile in 12.5 sec.

Default All so close in numbers.

It is a numbers game. The specifications don't look like much of a big difference.
