I tried to do some research on the Meziere electric water pump (from WCC). Contacted the manufacturer and they apparently have a few on LS2 engines. No dyno from C-6 but they claim to have received 14 peak HP from a ZO6. This could be some fairly cheap horsepower, any forum members have experience with this product?

That sounds like shady accounting to me. They still have to move the same amount of water through the engine. They're doing it electrically instead of using a pump directly driven off the crank. But to get the electricity they have to turn an alternator belted to the crank. Since no alternator is 100% efficient, and neither is the electric motor they're using to turn the pump, looks like *more* power will be sapped from the engine to run their system than the OEM directly driven water pump.
Of course, momentarily, they could draw power from the battery beyond what's supplied by the alternator. So their claim of "peak" power increase may be accurate, but not relevant to the real world where the engine runs for more than a moment.
