But from what I've been seeing, the Oklahoma City dealers aren't doing the 10% discount like Kerbeck is. I think it would still be cheaper to buy the car there even after paying airfare there and driving home.

I am hoping when the time is right for me to order that my "local dealer" will do their best to match Kerbeck or any of the other volume dealers. Lowest price is great but sometimes buying local even if it costs a little more is worth it to establish a relationship especially with the service department.

Yes that for sure would be the best option. Can't understand why if one can do it, why the others can't unless of course it's a small low inventory dealership. And I understand there is no cap on doc fees and some are really high. I think though there are no doc fees at Kerbeck.

The low volume dealers want and maybe need to make as much money on each car as they can. The 4 dealers closest to me are now willing to honor the Supplier pricing BUT getting an allocation is another issue. Some only get an allocation every 3 months. I am really hoping I can do business with Criswell as they are close enough that I can take my car there for service.

I won't be going to Kerbeck since they do not take GMS pricing

Other concern is service as local dealers seem to sell and service very few Corvettes. I could go to Criswell as they are only about an hour away. Would like to hear from customers of any of these dealers. Thanks.
same question I had as I'm ready to write a depsoit check by 2/7/15. I've asked for five dealers to provide a price based on specs. It'll be interesting to see who responds and what prices as it's a simple apples vs apples ... simple as in ..it'll get complicated with who tacks on what to the spec price

In Wisconsin, you pay the sales tax when applying for tags. Also, you do not get any sales tax forgiveness if you sell your car outright. Double taxation is a great sales tool for dealers when you don't want to trade.

Watching this thread closely. Emailed Conti for a quote (faux pas or not, I'm not even bothering to show up to a dealer not knowing an approx of what I'm going to spend) last week and haven't heard a peep.
