There are a few good private hospitals less than a 15 minute drive from the property.

I would never live in a state where I cannot legally carry handguns to protect me and my family! Let alone in a state or country where guns are illegal!! Places like that, is where only the criminals are carrying guns!

Criminals have guns all over the world. Honduras does have strict gun laws no doubt about it. You can own a gun and keep it home and can apply for a cc permit. I had one. It is more difficult though.
