Lately we have been asked a lot of questions about fueling on the new Gen V vehicles. Well here is a quick little video of one of our LMR1200HP builds completed awhile back. Our secondary fuel injection is for in house builds only and our system can support over 1500hp with 0 methanol. This car put down over 1100rwhp through the 8sp automatic with zero methanol. Those of you looking for big HP out of your Gen V, feel free to give us a call for one of our turn key packages!
we have not done a dyno comparison of the intakes. The procharger intake is sheet metal and the LME is made from billet
Do you guys use bigger injectors on a build like this? also no meth? are your running e85 , c16 ? this port injection seems new to the c7 z06 can you guys explain a little how it all works and the fuel your using with out meth, im very interested
Amazing work guys! Love the fact that the DI is retained. Could you use normal pump in the DI and say C16 in the secondary injectors? Almost like he Nelson Racing's 'octane on demand'.
On a side note, you need to come up with more interesting names for your packages. Maybe come up with a name like AMS did for their GTR packages. Seeing '1200' and 'LMR' just seems to be the norm these days with you guys!
Also think you need to turn that motor over a bit more. That torque curve looks like there are about another 1500rpm in her!

I can only guess but I would say they are using something like E85 as the primary fuel. The problem is the stock DI fuel system can't deliver much over 700rwhp before it gets a bit iffy. You can install larger injectors and pump And maybe get out to 900rwhp (guessing here) but you are still reliant on the DI injectors.
This setup allows you to add much larger secondary injectors in the intake. So once you push the DI injectors beyond what they can deliver the secondaries come in and provide the additional fueling. A simple and elegant solution that, in my opinion, is better (not cheaper or easier) than simply pumping a ****-load of meth into the intake and hoping it gets evenly distributed across all cylinders.
You still need the correct octane for the power you want to make. But this can deliver much more high octane fuel (ie e85) than the stock system can.
What EMS is controlling the secondary fuel system? No issues on E85?
We are't ready to discuss too many details at this time. We would like to start putting this system through the ringer. We have 2 other builds in the shop getting the same setup. I will be sure to update accordingly.
