Default Boost Gauge Hose Routing

Hi,
Thinking of installing a boost gauge and was wondering if anyone else has done it or have suggestions on how/where to route the boost gauge hose from under the hood into the vehicle. I'm thinking of installing it behind the entertainment screen...

2016, Stingray.

Thanks,
Pj

Do you have an alky control meth kit? I used the vacuum line that had already been run to the meth kit and "T'd" off that.

If you dont have meth, theres a good size grommet in the driver side footwell area that you can run it through

At the base of the a pillar in the engine compartment there is a triangular trim piece. Pop that off and you can run the tubing and wires through there. You also need to pull the lower inner a pillar trim. It will make sense once you look at it. That's what I did.

Is anyone running something like the plx boost sensor? I was debating mounting it in the engine compartment and just running the analog wire into the cabin. I didn't know if the sensor unit could stand the heat though.

I ran mine off my meth sensor and then installed a custom A-pillar from Oritzcustome gauge pods.

Should be perfectly fine.

Send me your C7 and I'll find out

Check it out on YouTube. It works really, really well on my C6 so I push it pretty often to anyone looking for gauges. If you're already running a boost capable map sensor (and all F.I. guys should be) then the data is already there on the CAN bus, dash logic just puts it in a convenient spot for you to see and allows you to set alerts, etc. It's really neat.

I use the dashlogic because I didn't want a gauge pod on this car. It works well and is displayed in the center screen on the dash. Lots of other info can be displayed also. I have mine set for boost and IAT 2

Dash logic is worth every penny. However to read accurate boost on a stingray you'll have to change the MAP sensor to the ls9 I believe and have the tune adjusted. The stock lt1 stingray won't read boost that high.

Here is the setup i went with. I went with the psb1 cause I wanted a widebsnd also. Love it.cause it stores peak boost. Behind the info screen is the only way to go
