I think from what I have looked at in the LS motors if you are doing the blower motor set up would look at the diamond pistons & rings. Due to the ring set having more pressure on them to push onto the walls of the block more than the wiseco. In the blower motor the wiseco seem to walk around like & get more blow by.
On a N/A set up the wiseco work great. Just ask arounf plus call & talk with some of the vendors in here that also do a lot of motor builds.. Robert

I just bought the wiseco pistons today morning, i think they work both the same level for 1100-1200 whp, I know alot of ppl using wiseco but never heard of any using dimond for the lt engines

Piston & ring on both diff sets work the same. If you don't push the powe over 700 plus I love the wiseco pistons man. If you don't think I am telling you the true here call tx speed are a few other motor builders in here & ask them. Robert

Nah im probably gonna make way more than that, around 900whp to 1150

Unless this thing is going to be only a race car only WHY & them if a race car you going to need more than that to be # 1.
Then if this thing is going to be a street car & track car hope you have deep pockets all this is going to do is break parts.
That is why I will stick with the 700 max to the rear wheels & have a good street car that will take about 95% plus of the guys that drive these cars as a daily driver.
Just pulled the trigger on a new Darton Sleeved TS&P 416 today. I opted for the forged Mahle pistons (Part Number 168-930228070). It's the exact same 2618 alloy that Wiseco uses. This piston is rated up to 1500 hp.
Vengeance Racing drop in pistons are good for like 1000 wheel..
Those are the exact pistons that we ran, without issues I might add, until I grenaded our stock block a few days ago. They held us over 1000+ hp as we were close to 1200hp. So, now that we are doing a full on Darton sleeved TS&P 416 from the ground up, we decided to go the Mahle forged pistons route (10:1 compression / higher boost levels on our ECS 2200 blower).
